These are THE BEST brownie mixture I've ever made. And that's saying something because I consider brownies a food group of their own and have made quite a few recipes based on the fact that they say 'brownie' in the title.
I made it for the pinewood derby and EVERYONE wanted the recipe. Think Adam's Peanut Butter Cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory. Two hints:
1. Serve well chilled. They are so much better cold. Make them a day ahead and refrigerate.
2. I never have cream on hand. Great trick I learned....put in a couple heaping spoonfulls of Cool-whip in it's place. Works great everytime.
